Vineyard Pottery began in 2005 by Pete Kennedy, an environmental biologist and business owner in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After taking a leisure class at LSU in 2000, Pete fell in love with working with clay and creating unique pottery designs emphasizing his love of nature and spiritual faith.

His specialty in hand-building techniques and using select driftwood to accentuate his creations has evolved from humble beginnings into the current 1,000-square-foot studio warehouse located in South Baton Rouge.
